ENGLISH FOR ACADEMIC PURPOSES

IELTS Preparation – the course is designed to prepare for the IELTS exam, in accordance with its 4 test sections (reading, writing, speaking, listening). If necessary, the program provides for the connection of an additional hour of classes on the selected section. The London school offers participation in the free IELTS club, providing an ideal social environment for training. Levels: intermediate, upper intermediate, advanced. Requirements – B1 minimum. Course – from 2 weeks. Campus – London, Birmingham, Manchester, Toronto. The IELTS exam is not included in the price.

TOEFL Preparation – the course prepares students for the TOEFL IBT exam, which is designed to assess the relevance of English language skills to the university level. Its successful completion guarantees enrollment in any selected university. The school provides the opportunity to take TOEFL IBT tests. Levels: intermediate and upper intermediate. Requirements – B1 minimum. Course – from 1 week. Campus – Toronto.

Academic English – the course is ideal for those who want to improve their English to an academic level and connect their near future with the university environment, as well as postgraduate studies. The program aims, among other things, to develop generalization skills, references to valuable materials, notes, research and critical thinking, which will ensure readiness for any difficulties of university education in the English-speaking environment around the world. Students can also choose optional Business English or English for Specific Purposes. Levels: from intermediate to advanced. Requirements – B1 minimum. Course – from 1 week. Campus – London, Toronto.

The University Access Program is a course aimed at improving English for further successful study at a British university. Emphasis is placed on honing critical thinking, studying research methods and ways to avoid plagiarism. Levels: from upper intermediate to advanced. Requirements – 6.0 IELTS (3 months) 5.5 IELTS (6 months). Course – 3 or 6 months. Campus – London.

Evening IELTS Preparation – evening courses in preparation for the IELTS exam. The beginning – varies. Levels: from upper intermediate to advanced. Requirements – B2 minimum. Campus – London.

Evening Academic Writing – evening courses of academic level in preparation for study at the British University. Levels: from upper intermediate to advanced. Requirements – B2 minimum. Campus – London.

Business English is a course for those who work in the field of business and want to improve their English. The program also aims to acquire classic business skills – such as presentations, meetings, negotiations, interviews, business calls and much more. Levels: from intermediate to advanced. Requirements – B1 minimum. Course – from 1 week. Campus – London, Toronto.

English for Specific Purposes is a specialized English language course in the following subject areas: media, law, oil and gas, finance, engineering, tourism, fashion, aviation, mechanical engineering and medicine. Levels: intermediate to advanced. Requirements – B2 minimum. Course – 2 or 4 weeks. Campus – London.

Business English plus ESP – combined course. In addition to 15 hours per week of Business English, students are offered 10 hours per week of one of the thematic English courses for Specific Purposes. Levels: upper intermediate, advanced. Requirements – B2 minimum. Course – 2 or 4 weeks. Campus – London, Toronto.

Evening Business English – evening business English courses. Start – every Tuesday. Levels: from intermediate to advanced. Requirements – B1 minimum. Course – 4-16 weeks. Campus – Toronto.

Work Study Program is a unique program that allows you to combine work and study, which will not only provide a high level of knowledge of English (Business English), but also help to establish important business contacts. The fee includes a lawyer’s consultation on immigration issues, as well as individual assistance in writing a resume and preparing for an interview. Course – a minimum of 24 weeks (12 weeks of study + 12 weeks of internship). Campus – Toronto.

Business Communication is an additional course that is designed for successful and effective communication in the field of business. Levels: intermediate, upper Intermediate, advanced. Course – from 1 week. Course structure – 5 or 10 hours per week with a mandatory second year. Campus – London, Birmingham, Manchester, Toronto.
